The Clearstream™ V-Box© is a family of video capture
stations used as the heart of a live video display, video capture, streaming
video and video conferencing solutions, a patented set of PC configurations
which allows users the ability to capture and produce unprecedented amounts of
video per megabyte of hard disk, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM or Memory Chip space!
ClearStream™ V-Box© Overview
Three basic configurations are available to support your image capture,
video image display, industrial streaming image processing and video
conferencing applications:
V-Box Consumer© Edition:
The most economical edition for the typical consumer's here-and-there smaller
multimedia needs.
V-Box Professional© Edition:
The optimum edition for the smaller business multimedia needs.
V-Box Corporate© Edition:
The premium edition for the larger business multimedia needs.
Each V-Box© features:
- Support for both PAL and NTSC compatibility ("dual crystal"
support).
- Image capture from any analog composite or S-video source from still-frame
up to full-motion 30 FPS video.
- Digitizing in 4:2:2 video sampling and display of live video from
NTSC or PAL video sources in a resizable window on the PC screen.
- Many configurations from a single composite input + S-video input +
power output (primarily to drive a local CCD type camera) to up to 4 composite
video inputs.
- Technical support for your implementations.
Video Conferencing
The ClearStream™ V-Box© can be used for Internet video
conferencing using most any popular software package such as Microsoft
NetMeeting.
All of the digitizing and image movements are done by the ClearStream™
V-Box© imaging hardware, performed
directly to the display adapter memory to optimize the CPU
duty cycle and provide high performance results; without requiring the systems' CPU,
you get maximum performance from your ClearStream™ V-Box©.
